2014/15 - Kerman International Airport, Iran: New Terminal Design for Mahan Air

ADC are co-consultants with Kencana Technologies of Malaysia on the concept designs for the new terminal which is to provide passenger processing for both International and Domestic flights, including special processing facilities for Hajj pilgrims. The project involves identifying a new site for the terminal which allows future expansion and the development of the apron/taxiway. The design is future proofed and embodies swing gates and swing re-claim carousels. The terminal can be expanded without major internal re-modelling. ADC has recently presented the latest concepts to the Iranian Airport Company and Mahan Air in January prior to commencing detailed design development.

ADC is providing terminal sizing, functional planning and concept design advice as part of the contract with Kencana Technologies on behalf of Mahan Air in Iran for the design and construction of the new international terminal at their training base at Kerman Airport Southern Iran.
